Masterpiece Upscale Resale accepts maternity/nursing (breastfeeding) and children’s clothing in sizes preemie to youth 20 plus, shoes, accessories, toys, furniture and equipment. Our buying counter is open for drop-offs every day during boutique business hours (shown at bottom of webpage). Keep reading for the guidelines.

We pay cash or store credit right away for your gently used clothing, shoes, toys, and equipment. We pay from 15-40% of the amount at which we will sell an item. We will add 25% more to the total due to you if you agree to store credit instead.
 

Selling Tips

CLOTHING

Items must be *neatly folded* and placed in a laundry basket, plastic tote, or new plastic kitchen bag (30gal or less). We ask that all sets be put together as well. Please, NO hangers or garage sale stickers.

Please bring freshly laundered, buttoned, snapped and zipped clothing that is in good condition without stains, holes, odors, fading or excessive wear. 

We buy all seasons of children’s clothing all year, and in season maternity clothing!

EQUIPMENT AND TOYS

Please be sure your items are in working condition and include all of the original parts. Items and toys must meet the current safety standards and be new within the last 4 years.

Masterpiece keeps up with product recalls. This information is a top priority to ensure the safety of all toys and to guarantee a high-quality selection. Making sure all products are up to standards is a MUST! 

 

ITEMS WE DO ACCEPT in gently-used or new condition

• Clothing preemie-youth 20 plus

• Closed-system breast pumps

• New car seats, or car seat boosters

• Diapers, wipes, toiletries, & towels/cloths in *unopened* packages

• Decor, furniture & bedding (will be carefully inspected)

• Slings, receiving and swaddle blankets, mobiles, bassinets/changers

• Shoes

• Swimwear

• Toys

ITEMS WE DO NOT ACCEPT

• Car seats or car seat boosters (unless new in box)

• Stuffed animals

• Pre-owned bath toys, pacifiers or teethers

• Video game systems or games

• Bicycles

• Bicycle helmets unless new

• Breast pumps or equipment (unless closed-system)

• Opened, expired or WIC formula
   

Guidelines - Appointments, Walk-ins, & Drop-offs

You may choose any one of three buying options: selling by appointment, walking in to sell, or dropping off your items. There is a limit of one laundry basket, one plastic tote (18gal or less), or one (new) kitchen bag (30gal or less) if you are doing a walk-in. There is a limit of two laundry baskets, two plastic totes, or two (new) kitchen bags if you are doing a drop off. Please note that we will not retain items for donation -- items to donate will be your responsibility to transport to the receiving donation facility of your choosing.

APPOINTMENTS

Appointments may be arranged by calling 903.348.4443. At the time of your appointment, we will go through your items, let you know what we would like to purchase, offer cash or store credit, and return items we’re unable to take. Having an appointment minimizes the chances of having to wait. 

Note: It takes thirty minutes to an hour to process one bag/bin of clothing, footwear, and toys. We ask that you stay in the store during your appointment.

WALK-INS

This option is for those who value convenience. Walk-in hours are Wednesday to Friday 10:00am to 6:00pm, and Saturday from 10:00am to 2:00pm (subject to change, so please check for any store hour updates again here before walking in). Masterpiece Upscale Resale’s buying counter operates on a first-come-first-served basis. We will let you know how soon a buyer will be available. The buyer will then go through your items, let you know what we would like to purchase, offer cash or store credit, and return or donate items we’re unable to take. If, for any reason, a buyer is unavailable to process your things in a manageable time, you may ask to Drop-off your things for later processing [See below] or schedule an appointment. 

*Note: It is a good idea to call us 903.348.4443 before you come to the store to check the current wait time.

DROP-OFFS

This option is open to customers having once sold to Masterpiece, and to customers walking in when buyer(s) are occupied and unable to process their things in a reasonable time. A drop off form must be completed.

Note: Due to space limitations, we will accept up to two bags/bins of dropped off clothing. We do not allow toys and equipment to be dropped off.

  A store employee will review your items and make an offer based on style, safety, and condition standards.

• Get Paid

  If you accept the offer, you’ll get paid cash on the spot, or store credit with an increased value of 25% additional over the cash option! Items not needed in store stock, or that do not meet guidelines will be returned to you.
